Gene Tierney was a 30's-40's very beautiful star. She's best known for her portrayal of "Laura."

Done with graphite pencils and watercolor.

I enjoy viewing this illustration of Gene. haven't remembered her some a long time, Now I will look for a film index and refresh my memory.

I am not an illustrator artist type. I don't draw or sculpt or print anything I see with my eyes.

My image work is entirely symbolic, abstracted from within my psyche and thoughts. It amazes me how diverse art

people can be, but regardless, the majority of fine arts is falling inside traditional parameters, in that it most

often illustrative, representing ' known things.

Keep up your good work !

Thanks for your comment James.  I enjoy every genre of art, whether it's sculpting, sketching, painting, impressionism or abstract.  It's just that my talent is geared more toward realism, whether it's sketching or painting, and what I'm best doing.  The things I do appreciate about abstract is the ingenuity of imagination and one's psyche, as you mentioned.  I appreciate the feedback, and will take a look at your work.
