In the 60’s I studied graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts at Rotterdam
and went on to work in various visual media and forms of applied art.
In the years following I contributed to television programmes, designed record covers and stage sets, gave lectures and published various books, theatre- and screenplays.
In 1995 I returned to my first love and profession: painting.

“... I paint the dreams I’d like to dream; landscapes and scenes where men and animals meet and play, with no restrictions whatsoever.Anything should be possible in my paintings, as in the mind of a child”

Since I started painting in 1995 more than 80 different serials graphic art where successfully published and sold in Europe. 5 art-poetry-books I wrote and painted where published, and I was happy to win several eminent Art Prices. In 2004 I was nominated by the Dutch jury as one of 5 artist for the Olympic Art Competition 2004 and in 2005 I was officially invited to make a sculpture and painting conserning the Queens 25th regnal jubilee.
From 1996 until 2009 I had over 70 exhibitions at renowned gallery’s and musea in a.o. the Netherlands, Germany, France, England, Scandinavia , Spain and the Far East.
I had the chance to initiate several projects for children in Bangladesh ( painting a children’s hospitalship for Terre des Hommes, a wall painting for a Childrens Hospital for the Memisa organisation in Zambia, and in Indonesia I could help to realize 100 small librairy’s for children (the Pondok Baca Pilot Project ) by publishing a new art-poetry-book “Gentle child inside” in Bahassa Indonesia, Dutch and English.
At the end of 2004 I started to make bronze and ceramic sculptures, in commision of a.o. Hospital Hilversum, a new Library and the Television Broadcast Company KRO.
My poetry-art book “Love you this much”, published in 2005, was accompanied by a pop-rock music-cd for which I wrote the songs, sung by well known dutch pop-artists.
Alltogether I wrote and painted 6 poetry-artbooks, about love, angels, children, life and dreams. In 2009 I started to make large wooden sculptures, together with Toon Agterberg, good friend and handcraftsman.

In 2005 The Berengo glass Studio in Venice - Murano invited me to join their intenational glas- collection, sculpture which they show all over the world.
