I teach a class of 14 for watercolor here in Leesburg, FL in the winter, up north in Dundee, NY in the summer... less students. I'm working on two florals to fit in two odd shaped frames I got in a garage sale. I'll put them in here when they are done. I'm also entering some watercolors in the Garza Papel competition. Interesting paper. A different style I'm using. Will also put those pictures in here, eventually.

Aunt Gemima is a marketing myth based on an African America Women who is always smiling and serving us her pancakes and waffles. We are never told anything else about her except that she "serves" others. A women from a generation when women/women of color did not speak or were heard. Like Rosa Parks who decided one day that she would sit at the front of the bus; Aunt Gemima today finally speaks her mind!
