From Francisco Goya to Pablo Picasso, art has been used as a vehicle for bringing social awareness, change and Justice. Goya saw the French massacre of his people and made several prints of those atrocities. The prints he made depict the senseless brutality of soldiers attacking ordinary people in horrific ways. Goya's painting, "Third of May 1808," is a prime example of how an artist uses there talent to record a horrible action. In doing so Goya communicated to the world the…Continue

Some of our relationships are nurturing and inspiring, while others not so much. These latter individuals can keep us physically, intellectually, emotionally and spiritually from our art. Artist Vampires. It can be a settle act of approaching an artist at the wrong time, such as when they are in front of their easel working, interrupting their flow. …Continue

The idea is to give a look into the many different types of artist studio's. It can be as easy as a few seconds of video spanning across your creative sanctuary or as developed as a documentary with you talking about your space and your art. It is interesting how artist are so different in how they arrange their space and how they make it uniquely theirs so they can make things!
